Someone once told us we should have a selection of fun buckles. We heard you.
So we went digging. And now we've got something a little unexpected living in the studio: a curated collection of vintage buckles, hand-picked and ready to be paired with one of our full-grain leather straps.
These aren't sourced from a catalog. Each one has an actual history. Some are family heirlooms that made their way to us for a second life, including "Papa's Buckle," which is exactly what it sounds like. Others have inscriptions on the back. Little pieces of history etched into silver, brass, or stone. The kind of thing that has weight to it, literally and otherwise. You cannot get that at Target. You should not try.
Here's how it works: come in, pick a strap, pick a buckle, and hand it to one of our leathersmiths. They'll handle the rest. And if you've got a buckle of your own that's been sitting in a drawer waiting for its moment, bring it. We'll build the belt around it.
We're open Monday through Saturday at 1707 E 7th St in Charlotte (Elizabeth neighborhood, come say hi). These won't stick around forever, and frankly, neither will we stand here waiting for you to decide.
